Pacific Northwest Native Trees

Trees are usually the tallest elements in the landscape, either private gardens or public spaces. They draw the eye upward to the sky and guide the spirit to soar among the clouds. Bird and squirrels make their homes in trees, children climb on them, folks of all ages enjoy resting in their shelter from the sun.

A garden without a tree seems earth-bound, limited to the square foot space it occupies. But adding even a single tree broadens the scope of the garden by laying claim to the space between land and tree-top--a dimension not considered before it's inclusion.

We in the northwest are blessed with an abundance of beautiful deciduous and evergreen trees that grow naturally in our area. We proudly offer a great many of these trees in our Complete Online Catalog, in our Wholesale Container and Wholesale Bareroot sites and at especially low prices during seasonal sales.

Listed here are the ever growing number of our websites devoted to a particular species. We include excellent descriptions, habit, uses, pests, propagation and historical information for each tree, as well as fresh photographs and original watercolor paintings by renowned botanical artist Heidi Hansen. Click on each link to visit the sites and do come back often to see what has grown since our last visit!
